Mission BBQ offering free sandwich to every military branch each day this week

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Active duty and veteran service members around the East can celebrate their appreciation week with some barbecue.

Mission BBQ has announced it will be celebrating Armed Forces Week by offering active and veteran service members with a free barbecue sandwich.

Each day this week will be for a specific branch of the military. That schedule being:

• Monday for the Army
• Tuesday for the Marine Corps
• Wednesday for the Navy
• Thursday for the Air Force and Space Force
• Friday for the Coast Guard

Mission BBQ says this is their way of saying “thank you for your service!”

The restaurant will also host an all-branches lunch on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will also have free sandwiches for service members. There will also be a performance of the National Anthem at noon.
