CAUGHT ON CAM: Trucker charged in Goldsboro crash that injured 11

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) - An Illinois truck driver is being charged after police say he crashed into several cars in Goldsboro, leaving 11 injured.

Alin Bosa, 46, was charged with failure to reduce speed.

A dashcam video captured the Saturday afternoon crash at the intersection of U.S. 70 and North Oak Forest Road.

Officers say the 18-wheeler driver failed to slow down and rear-ended six cars stopped for a traffic light.

Police say 11 people were treated. Five required no further care, four were taken to UNC Health Wayne, and two were airlifted to ECU Health Medical Center in serious condition.

The investigation remains ongoing, with more charges possible.
