A true November fall weekend settles in ENC
Staying dry and calm next week
The summer-ish feel we saw Friday is now a memory, as we head into a much cooler, quieter weekend. Highs will be in the mid-60s and lows in the 30s and low 40s. Some adjacent counties could see a light, patchy frost Sunday morning. Pack a jacket when stepping out the door in the morning. Winds will be from the northwest around 10-20 mph.
More sunshine and cooler air will linger, with temperatures holding in the upper 60s and low 70s. Our nighttime lows will be in the low to mid-40s inland. Coastal areas will see lows in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
Heading into late week and the next weekend (November 14-15), the mild, comfortable air will feel more like winter. Highs fall in the 50s and lows in the 30s. We could see our first frost. If you need to winterize your garden, do so over the next week.
