GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Residents will have a chance to catch the iconic Goodyear Blimp at the Pitt-Greenville Airport next week.
The blimp will be seen flying over the city from November 3 to 6 for several flight operations and aerial coverage, according to a news release.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the Goodyear Blimp and its crew to Pitt-Greenville,” said John Hanna, Operations Manager at the Pitt-Greenville Airport. “It’s not every day our community gets to see such a legendary aircraft right here at home.”
When not in flight, the blimp will be stationed at the airport. While rides won’t be available, visitors can view it from designated areas and must park in the paid lot.
