CARTERET COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - No injuries were reported after a Carteret County mobile home caught fire for the second time in less than a month.

Officials say a single-wide mobile home at 119 Rattan Street, just south of Newport, caught fire this afternoon. The home was being demolished after it was first set ablaze on April 18.

Morehead City Fire-EMS and other fire departments, including those from Atlantic Beach, Beaufort, Broad, Gales Creek, and Newport, knocked out the fire within 15 minutes after arrival.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
