Approval sought to transfer 38 nursing home beds to Ayden

AYDEN, N.C. (WITN) - Hillco Ltd, River Neuse Group LLC, and Britthaven Inc. have applied for approval to move 38 nursing home beds to Ayden Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A news release says three beds from Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and 35 beds from Rowan County Health and Rehabilitation Center would be relocated to Ayden.

The project is expected to cost $7.3 million and be completed in October 2028.

A public hearing will be held at 11 a.m. on June 19 at the Eugene James Auditorium in the Pitt County Administrative Office Building in Greenville.
