Three detained as Bertie County deputies investigate shooting

BERTIE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Bertie County deputies say three people have been detained after a shooting this evening.

The sheriff’s office says the shooting happened near Woodard Road at Watts Lane, south of Windsor.

People are being asked to avoid the area while they investigate the scene.
