GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis is sending another message to Greenville City Council that he will not back down when it comes to the huge American flag and flagpole at his business in Greenville.

In a post on “X” Tuesday, Lemonis tells officials from Greenville and Sevierville, Tennessee, “I’ll see you in court.”

Greenville has authorized court action against Lemonis because the flag and flagpole exceed city code. Sevierville has already filed a lawsuit over the size of the flagpole. That case is due in court later this month.

Just last week, Lemonis told WITN that the flag will never come down, not even if he ends up in jail.

In his latest social media post, Lemonis says he came from an orphanage in Beirut, and that the big flags he puts up are personal to him. He says, " The flag is my love letter to a country that gave me a chance when I didn’t have one."

The flag in Greenville is 3,200 square feet, nearly 15 times bigger than what is allowed, and flies on a pole that stands 130 feet tall, almost double the size of the current regulations.

Lemonis also he has put up 220 flags across this country totaling 704,000 square feet and his secret goal has always been to get to one million square feet.

He says, “The flag isn’t coming down. No matter the consequences. I am an only child. My parents are both passed. I have no kids. I have my faith, my businesses, my wife and my principles.”
