Investigation underway after Elizabeth City shooting leaves man injured

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WITN) - An investigation is underway after a weekend shooting in Elizabeth City left a man injured.

Elizabeth City police say 20-year-old Kohl Blocker was shot in the Laurel Park area around 11:30 p.m. Friday.

He was taken to Sentara Albemarle Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
