Friends of the Brothers Boyd Comic Con

HAVELOCK, N.C. (WITN) - Chris Boyd and his brothers Josh and Daniel run a comic book and pop culture-focused Youtube channel called “The Brothers Boyd.”

They are hosting the first-ever “Friends of the Brothers Boyd Comic Con” on August 31st in Havelock NC.

Their goal is to provide a family-friendly, inexpensive convention to those who can’t afford to travel to the bigger shows, therefore the show will be free admission.

They will be taking donations at the show to help put on a show next year as well as holding a raffle with the proceeds going to the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention.

We Guests include Karen Whitfield who traveled with Adam West and Bert Ward as Batgirl in the late 70s and early 80s along with many comic creators, artists, authors, and a variety of other vendors.

The event will be held at the Havelock Tourist and Event Center on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Admission is free for all.

They will announce vendors and guests as they are confirmed. We will raffle prizes, and have comics, collectibles, POPs, artists, writers, crafts, and more.
