After a nice, cool start to the week, we’re shifting back into summertime heat and humidity this afternoon and for the next few days. Highs will be in the upper 80s and low 90s, and lows will be in the upper 60s and low to mid-70s.

Friday starts dry, but storm chances return into the afternoon and evening. Not a washout, but keep the rain gear handy for another round of high school football and/or 9/11 memorials.

Our weekend features scattered showers and storms across ENC, which should be a washout. We are staying in the upper 80s and low 90s, with lows in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

Next week, we take a break from the humidity and feel more like September. We will see highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s. A northeast wind will kick in, making it feel cooler.
