A tropical wave continues to be monitored deep in the Atlantic between South America and Africa. There’s no threat to the Carolinas or the US anytime soon. Shower and thunderstorm activity remains disorganized. Conditions are expected to become increasingly unfavorable for development over the next few days while the wave moves west at around 15 mph.
