PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - An Ayden man will spend at least two years in state prison for a shooting a year ago.
The Pitt County District Attorney’s Office says Nazion Williams pled guilty today to conspiracy to discharge a firearm into an occupied dwelling.
The shooting happened on July 28th in the area of Allen Drive and Wilson Drive. Three homes were hit by gunfire, but fortunately, no one was injured.
Several days after the shooting, Ayden police searched Williams’ home on Allen Drive, where they found an AR-style rifle with a pistol grip along with ammo.
A judge sentenced Williams to serve between two years and three years, five months in state prison.
