Arrest made in Edgecombe County party shooting that killed two

EDGECOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - An arrest has been made in a shooting that killed two men and wounded a third person over the weekend.
Arrington Everette, of Princeville, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
The shooting happened shortly after 3:00 a.m. Sunday on Branchwood Lane outside of Tarboro.
When deputies arrived, they found Odis Draughn III, 29, and Tellton Jones, 28, had been killed.
Deputies say another person was injured and taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
The shooting happened during a large party, according to deputies.
The 34-year-old Everette is being held in jail without bond.
