Teen charged in Havelock break-ins

Havelock police have made an arrest in connection to several residential break-ins that occurred throughout the month of May.
Police charged 19-year-old Tyler Hunter of Oakwood Drive in Havelock with two counts of first degree burglary, two counts of larceny of a firearm, five counts of injury to real property and five counts of attempted first degree burglary.
His arrest comes after reports of seven residential burglaries and five attempted residential burglaries.
Hunter is being held in the Craven County jail with bond set at $25,000.
Officers say the investigation is still ongoing.
