FOUR YEARS LATER: Deputies feel close to break in 2013 murder
Deputies feel they are close to a break in the case of a missing man whose body was found nearly four years ago.
The body of Jovan Morris was discovered in July of 2013 on Florida Road, in the Weeksville area of Pasquotank County.
The man was reported missing on July 6th, 2013 after his unattended vehicle was found with the keys in the ignition in front of Woodstock Apartments in Elizabeth City.
Investigators say Morris had been shot.
Sheriff deputies, Elizabeth City police and the SBI have been speaking with people and tracking down leads for the past four years.
