Death investigation underway in Goldsboro after man's body found

Police in one Eastern Carolina city have a death investigation on their hands.

Goldsboro police say around 7:30 a.m. officers were called to the 900 block of Evergreen Avenue for an unresponsive man.

The victim has been identified as 40-year-old Jermaine Gregory.

Police said their investigation is underway and they haven't said yet how they believe Gregory died.
