GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Randall Pope is rolling across North Carolina again, with his journey starting in ENC.

The U.S. Army veteran and member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America Mid-Atlantic Chapter is preparing for a nearly 400-mile wheelchair journey beginning at East Carolina University and ending Memorial Day weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Pope, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 31 years ago, is using the journey to raise awareness for MS and support veterans living with spinal cord injuries, ALS, and other diseases.

Organizers say the campaign also aims to highlight active and fulfilling lives within the disabled veteran community.

The 2026 ride follows Pope’s 270-mile wheelchair trip to the Pentagon last year, which raised more than $25,000 for veterans’ programs and MS research.

Pope joined ENC at Three to share more about his journey. You can watch the full interview in the video link above. For more information on the trip and when stops are, click here.
