JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A woman is facing multiple assault charges after warrants say she held a pregnant woman at gunpoint and resisted arrest.
34-year-old Amy Feterowski was arrested by Jacksonville police yesterday morning.
Warrants say Feterowski put a pregnant woman in a headlock and forcibly escorted her down a hallway into another room while pointing a pistol at her.
Warrants go on to say Feterowski forcefully pushed the victim’s stomach, causing her to feel pain.
While police were trying to arrest the Jacksonville woman, she tried to bite three officers, according to warrants.
Feterowski was charged with second-degree kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a pregnant woman, simple assault, and three counts of assault on a government official.
She was taken to the Onslow County Jail and is currently being held without bond.
