Williamston woman accused of punching ECU Health police officer in face

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A Martin County woman is accused of punching a police officer at a Greenville hospital and causing a commotion while intoxicated.

Tyniqua Keener was arrested by the ECU Health Police Department today.

Warrants say the 31-year-old was intoxicated at the ECU Health Medical Center yesterday, punched an officer in the face, and loudly cursed at others: “F*** y’all. Y’all can’t keep me here. You are going to call my f****ng mom or be sorry…”

Keener was charged with assaulting a company or campus police officer, intoxicated and disruptive, resisting a public officer, and disorderly conduct.

She was taken to Pitt County Jail on a $10,000 secured bond.
