Boys Basketball: Kinston downs Tarboro 76-50

KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) - Kinston defeated Tarboro 76-50 Friday Night, to advance to 13-2 on the year.

Genesis Wiggins led scoring with 25 points for the Vikings, while Jamarion Washington added 20 of his own.

The team is now 5-1 in the Eastern Plains 2A/3A Conference, in 2nd place behind unbeaten Farmville Central.

Next up, they play New Hanover with the date TBD with this weekend’s upcoming winter weather.
