Boys Basketball: SW Edgecombe outguns Greene Central 68-67

SNOW HILL, N.C. (WITN) - Southwest Edgecombe held on to beat Greene Central 68-67 Thursday night on the road.

This goes down as their eighth win in the last nine games, as they’ve been on a heater in the month of January. Overall, the Cougars are now 12-4.

Greene Central had not lost at home previously, as they fell to 10-6 with the loss.

Next up, the Rams play at Farmville Central on Friday, while SW Edgecombe returns home to face North Lenoir next Wednesday.
