Kinston tops Goldsboro 80-67 after receiving $25K donation from Brandon Ingram’s family

KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) - Following a full day of basketball in the Kinston High gymnasium, the home team wrapped the night up with an 80-67 victory over Goldsboro.

Before the game, Donald Ingram (father of NBA star & Kinston-alum Brandon Ingram) presented the school with a massive check on behalf of the family, with $25 thousand being sent to the Vikings’ athletic programs.

The win makes Kinston 9-1 overall on the year, in their 5th-straight victory.

Games also went on all day at Farmville Central, and will run from morning to night there as well on Monday.
