(CNN) - Powerball’s jackpot is approaching its highest of the year.

No winning ticket was drawn on Wednesday, meaning the jackpot has risen to an estimated $1.5 billion.

The record for the year is nearly $1.7 billion.

Still, a single winner would get way more money because that jackpot was split between two tickets.

No matter how big the pot gets, the odds of winning stay the same: a staggering 1 out of 292 million.

The next Powerball drawing will take place on Saturday.
