Man arrested in Havelock shooting that left one injured
HAVELOCK, N.C. (WITN) - Havelock police say a man is behind bars after a shooting left one injured.
Saturday, the Havelock Police Department went to a report of a shooting in the area of 200 Roosevelt Blvd. When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds.
The victim was airlifted to ECU Health Medical Center for further treatment.
According to police, following an investigation, 52-year-old Anthony Parmley, of Havelock, was charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
Parmley is currently being held at the Craven County Jail, and his first court appearance is scheduled to take place next week in Craven County Court.
