Police say last week’s New Bern homicide was gang-related

NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) - New Bern police say a deadly shooting a week ago was gang-related.
Khalil Grant was killed in the May 23rd shooting on McKinley Avenue.
Police say the 18-year-old had been the target of several gang-related activities in the Pembroke area.
A news release Friday afternoon did not mention any information on a possible suspect in the shooting.
