Fire damages Jacksonville restaurant

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A fire this afternoon damaged a Jacksonville restaurant.

Crews were called to Sam’s Fresh Seafood and Grill on North Marine Boulevard around 1:00 p.m.

Smoke was seen pouring out of the restaurant.

There is no word yet on what may have caused the fire.

Multiple lanes of Marine Boulevard were shut down due to the fire.
