Snowy roadways remain on the Outer Banks Wednesday morning

KITTY HAWK, N.C. (WITN) - There’s still a good amount of snow on the ground along the Outer Banks Wednesday morning.

North Carolina Department of Transportation web cams are showing just some of the conditions drivers are finding along coastal roadways.

There was heavy snow at the Hatteras ferry dock early Wednesday morning.

Most of Eastern Carolina picked at least 2-5″ of snow, with most heavy snow falling east and along the coastal communities.
