This week's Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina is a hound mix named Flash.
Flash is a super smart 2-year-old old who is doing well with commands and will work for treats. He'll need an active household to keep up with his high energy!
The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina is encouraging everyone to take advantage of January as "Walk Your Pet Month."
WoofTrax is an app users can download to support the Humane Society by logging walks. The app donates money to the charity of the user's choice everything they walk.
You can meet Flash at the HSEC adoption center.
The adoption center is open from 1pm-5pm on Thursday's and Friday's and from 9am-12pm on Saturday's. You can also visit the society's website, www.hsecarolina.org.
The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina brings adoptable animals every Wednesday at 6:25 a.m. on WITN News at Sunrise.
