19 year old now facing 20 to 25 years behind bars in connection to murder

One of five people charged in the 2015 murder of a Greenville man entered a guilty plea on Thursday.
The Daily Reflector is reporting that 19 year old Donald Bryant of Willow Street in Greenville pleaded guilty to second degree murder and was sentenced to 20 to 25 years in prison.
Bryant was facing a first degree murder charge but reached an agreement with the Pitt County district attorney's office on the lesser second degree murder charge.
Bakari Jones died at Vidant Medical Center after he was shot in front of his home on Gordon Drive during a drug deal in July of last year, according to police.
Detectives were able to talk to Jones about the shooting before he succumbed to his injuries.
