Teenager killed by boyfriend in accidental Greenville shooting, police say

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Greenville police believe that a 17-year-old girl died as a result of an accidental shooting.
Police went to the 1115-H Grovemont Drive for a report of a shooting and found the girl suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was taken to ECU Health Medical Center where she died from her injuries.
Police say their preliminary investigation suggests that she was accidentally shot by her 17-year-old boyfriend.
He was taken into custody and police say he has been cooperative.
