13-year-old boy shot in Greenville, two people in custody; residents share reactions

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Police are at the scene of a shooting at a townhome complex in Greenville.

Police are actively investigating at Sterling Pointe townhomes off of Thomas Langston Road.

Investigators say that officers got the call around 2:30 to the 3800 block of Sterling Pointe Drive.

Officers found a 13-year-old boy with gunshot wounds.

The boy was taken to ECU Health Medical Center.

Two juveniles are in custody and police do not believe there is an ongoing threat.
