Police investigating armed robbery at Greenville IHOP

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Greenville police say they’re investigating an armed robbery at a local breakfast chain restaurant.
Police say they got a report shortly after midnight on Monday of an armed robbery at the IHOP on Evans Street.
Employees told police a man entered the restaurant, held a worker at gunpoint and demanded money.
The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.
Detectives are working to get more information on the robbery and details on the suspect.
The robbery is under investigation.
