Surgery reclassifies incoming ECU quarterback Hodge to 2025
Was to be a freshman this fall, will join Pirates in the spring

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - ECU football incoming freshman quarterback Cole Hodge shared he had surgery this week to repair a torn hip labrum.
He was to join the Pirates this fall as a freshman but will reclassify with the 2025 class due to the recovery time. He shared he plans to join the Pirates for spring ball.
Hodge led his high school to a state championship in Kentucky and was the Gatorade Player of the Year there this past fall.
