Allie Hennard

Allie was born and raised here in the tri-state. She is from Ft. Wright, Ky. She made her way home – joining FOX19 Now as a multimedia journalist in May 2024. She moved to nightside reporter in February 2025.

Allie graduated from the University of Kentucky where she received her B.A. in Journalism after graduating from Villa Madonna Academy High School.

She began her career working at FOX19 NOW’s sister station WBKO in Bowling Green, Ky where she served in various roles, like anchor, investigative reporter, producer, and sports reporter.

In her time as a journalist, she’s covered a variety of stories including the deadliest tornado in Kentucky's history, the murder of Gabbi Doolin, and several Governor’s races.

In 2022 she was presented with an Associated Press award for Best Continuing Coverage of the E4 Tornado which took the lives of 17 people in Bowling Green.

When she is not on air, she’s often cheering on the Bengals, Reds, and UK Basketball (Go Cats!), or spending time with her dog, Josie.

She is excited and honored to be working in her hometown.
