Carteret Community College opens new center

MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. (WITN) - Carteret Community College celebrated the opening of a new center on Wednesday.

Just before noon, the college held a ribbon-cutting event for the Navigation Center. The center will help students navigate enrollment, access support services, and stay on track with their educational goals.

“Everybody here played a part in designing the space, thinking about who needed to sit near whom and how can it be welcoming and inviting for not only our students but for prospective students,” Carteret Community College President Tracy Mancini said.

Speakers spoke on how the new center will help students navigate to the right career path.
