GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - After two seasons at East Carolina, wide receiver Anthony Smith was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2026 NFL Draft.

The first pick of the 7th Round, he was selected 218th overall as Dallas is becoming Greenville-Southwest. With cornerback Shavon Revel Jr. picked in the 3rd Round by the Cowboys last year, the ex-teammates will be reunited in this Training Camp.

After transferring in from NC State two years ago, Smith put up 13 receiving touchdowns and one rushing touchdown, while accumulating 1,852 yards through the air over those two seasons.

He was All-Conference First-Team this fall while winning Military Bowl MVP (with 156 receiving yards on four catches with two touchdowns) in Annapolis to wrap up his college career.
