Rose Softball holds off Ayden-Grifton 7-5

AYDEN, N.C. (WITN) - J.H. Rose outlasted an Ayden-Grifton comeback Wednesday Evening, winning 7-5.

After leading 7-2 early, Rose found themselves in trouble in the 7th inning with one out and the tying run at the plate, but turned a double play to end the game.

Now at 10-1, Rose concludes their road trip in Jacksonville on Thursday, as they’ll have played three games in three days.

As for the 4-3 Chargers, they play at Kinston on Friday.
