ECU Health launches Certified Nursing Assistant Program
GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - ECU Health launched a new Certified Nursing Assistant I Program, designed to train its employees to learn the foundation of becoming certified nursing assistants.
Employees at ECU Health North, Edgecombe, and Roanoke-Chowan hospitals selected for the program will learn patient care skills from experienced professionals and receive classroom instruction and clinical training.
After program completion, they would transition from their current roles to nursing assistants.
“This initiative not only invests in the growth and development of our current team members but also opens new doors for those entering the field,” said Pam Rudisill, vice president of Nursing Excellence, ECU Health.
ECU Health says the first group will graduate in January 2026 and join their nursing team. Enrollment for the second group, beginning in February 2026, is now open.
