Onslow County road to close due to pipe replacement

ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A delayed roadwork project is expected to start today in Onslow County.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation will close Hubert Boulevard in both directions today to replace a crossline pipe.

A detour will be available from Old Highway 172 to N.C. 24 for those needing access to Hubert Boulevard.

Drivers are urged to remain alert and use caution when traveling near the area.

The work is expected to be finished on Friday, September 12th.
