Upcoming ENC Chapter: Pirates on the Pamlico event
WASHINGTON, N.C. (WITN) - In the lead-up to the launch of ECU’s new Eastern North Carolina Chapter on August 8, they are hosting a get-together at the upcoming, Pirates on the Pamlico!
The casual event will be held Saturday, July 13 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Pitt Street Brewing Company on the Pamlico located at 307 W Main St, Washington, NC.
According to Kylee Corbett, the cost is $10 per person and includes your first drink (beer/soda), light appetizers, and fun Pirate swag! Additional beverages are available for purchase at the brewery, and if you’re looking for a bite to eat, there are several restaurants within walking distance.
Guests are invited, too.
You must be 21+ to drink alcoholic beverages.

Also coming up is ECU Alumni Night with the Greenville Yard Gnomes, the newest team in the summer-collegiate Coastal Plain League and Greenville’s own. The Yard Gnomes will be going up against Wilson Tobs. Spend a great summer evening at the ballgame cheering along with your fellow Pirate alumni.
The ECU Alumni Association will be there with plenty of fun Pirate swag and Board Chair, Dr. Shannon Minges ‘07, ‘11, ‘15 will be throwing out the first pitch.

Plus, coming up in August, it’ll be time to launch the long-awaited, much-anticipated, and deeply PURPLE and GOLD Eastern North Carolina Alumni Chapter!
Thursday, August 8 beginning at 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. ECU chapter launch party is being held at TowneBank Tower.
The cost is only $25 per person:
There will be dinner provided by Villa Verde, dessert by Nothing Bundt Cake, and ice-cold Anheuser-Busch products from Carolina Eagle Distributing.
There will also be raffle prizes up for grabs framed ECU baseball and ECU football jersey from Shenandoah Framing, an outdoor chair from Bostic Suggs, local retailer gift cards, a Pirate Basket chocked full of fun stuff from UBE and more!
There will be an opportunity to have an ENC Launch Party commemorative photo taken with PeeDee the Pirate!
