Duplin County woman wins $200,000 from holiday drawing

RALEIGH, N.C. (WITN) - A woman from Wallace tried her luck and won big against 22 million other contestants.

The North Carolina Education Lottery announced that Amy Darboe of Wallace won $200,000 from the 2023 Holiday Second Chance drawing. She was one of 22 million entries for the drawing.

Darboe took home $143,000 after taxes earlier today.
