Greenville Police Search For KFC Armed Robbers

Greenville Police are looking for the two gunmen they say robbed a local restaurant Sunday night.

Officials tell WITN that the call came in around 9:45 p.m. of an armed robbery at the 2000 Southeast Greenville Boulevard KFC location.

Police said two men came into the store armed with handguns and demanded money from the safe.

The two are said to have gotten away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

There were no injuries, according to police.

WITN was at the scene and could see officers searching nearby neighborhoods with a K9 unit.

Kristen Hunter with Greenville Police said as investigators are working on this case, they will be looking to see if it is connected to the November armed robbery at this same location.
