Carolinas-based grocer Lowes Foods announced the closing of its store located at the Lynncroft Shopping Center in Greenville.
The company released a statement saying the decision is based on a comprehensive growth strategy.
Tim Lowe, President of Lowes Foods, said, “We are very excited about the future of Lowes Foods and these decisions are important as we continue to invest and build for future growth. We regret that this decision will impact our store teams, their families, and our valued guests in this location. Where possible, Lowes Foods’ team members will be offered positions at other Lowes Foods store locations, or otherwise assisted.”
The store will close on or before September 26, 2015.
Lowes Foods has 96 stores across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
