Family of five gets keys to new Habitat home

A Jacksonville family of five got the keys to their new home today, thanks to Habitat for Humanity.

The latest Crystal Coast Habitat home is on Kerr Street. Sam and Meagan Friant had to complete 400 "sweat equity" hours, as well as go through homeowner education courses.

The family will receive a 30 year, 0% mortgage for the home.

The family of three young boys is excited to live in the downtown area, close to both the New River and a city park.

The home was built on a lot donated through a city grant program.
