Jacksonville road to close for sinkhole repairs

The city of Jacksonville is warning motorists of a road closure that they say will last for three days.

Beginning Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. road crews will be working on Circuit Lane off Western Boulevard.

According to the city, a sinkhole developed over a sewer line and a deep trench needs to be dug in order to repair the area.

The section of roadway under construction stretches from the intersection with Moosehaven Road, around the back of Navy Federal.

Drivers will still be able to access the hotels and bank in the area.

The repairs are expected to last until Friday afternoon.
