WASHINGTON, N.C. (WITN) - Washington football's standout senior running back, free safety and returner Ka'ci Foreman is our newest WITN Pepsi Player of the Week!
"Being one of the top players on the team, you try and set a good example for the young kids," said Foreman. "If I'm doing the right things, my teammates will follow."
Foreman's leadership and play on the field were both critical in the Pam Pack's 42-25 win over North Lenoir Friday night. The victory catapulted Washington into the state playoffs.
"It's nice to have a kid that you can trust to go out there and play all phases of the game as hard as he can," said Washington head football coach Jon Blank. "He wants to win, so he's giving us his best every single Friday night, and that's one of those things you can't really replace."
