Player of the Week: BJ Corbitt

SNOW HILL, N.C. (WITN) - Greene Central boys basketball junior point guard BJ Corbitt is our newest WITN Pepsi Player of the Week!

"BJ is a talented basketball player, who's just now recognizing how good he could be, and he's just tapping into his potential," Greene Central head coach "Blue" Edwards said.

In his first season as the Rams' starting point guard, Corbitt is averaging nearly 11 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals per game.

"I think I can do everything a little bit," said Corbitt. "I can't say I can do one thing better than the other, but I think I'm pretty good all around."

"I think if he continues to work, he's going to be a terrific basketball player and an exceptional point guard," Edwards added.
