Panthers sign two offensive linemen

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Carolina Panthers have signed free agent guard Kitt O’Brien and center Parker Collins, the team announced Friday.

O’Brien comes to Carolina from the Birmingham Iron of The Alliance of American Football (AAF). He has previous experience in the NFL, spending time with Cleveland (2017) and Indianapolis (2015, 2016). He also played three seasons (2013-15) with the Cleveland Gladiators of the Arena Football League.

Collins, a native of North August, S.C., last played for the Atlanta Legends of the AAF. He has spent time in the NFL with Jacksonville (2017), Los Angeles Rams (2017) and Pittsburgh (2018). He played college football at Appalachian State.
