CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - The Carolina Panthers have claimed offensive tackle Dillon Gordon off waivers from Kansas City, the team announced.

Gordon spent the 2018 season on injured reserve with the Kansas City Chiefs and was waived on Monday. He went to the Chiefs practice squad in December of 2017 after spending most of the 2017 season on the Eagles practice squad.

Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by Philadelphia in 2016, Gordon played in one game in his rookie season with the Eagles.

Originally from Louisiana, Gordon was a three-year starter for LSU, playing as a tight end.
